16 year-old Teenager admits killing Step mum, sister

Arguments between Avinesh and Jyootee Chutoory were frequent. The 16-year-old teenager has admitted killing her step mother and two-year-old sister on Monday, 25 June at Mare-d’Albert.
The adolescent is a student of a college in Plaine Wilhems. He appeared before the tribunal of Mahebourg yesterday, Tuesday 26 June.
The father of Avinesh married Jyootee Chutoory in his second marriage and Ayeshna was born from this union.
Deepak who works in the catering department at Plaisance said that there were frequent quarrels between his wife and the children from his first wife. “They were often telling my wife that she is not their mother. I therefore requested my wife not to mingle in their life, i also asked her to take care of our daughter, Ayeshna only.” he said
“He was often in front of the PC. My wife asked him if he will spend all his time in front of the PC to play games. This is what fueled this quarrel. I think my wife beat him up which caused my son to strangle her and his sister.
Deepak found the two dead bodies when he returned home from work. Autopsy concluded the cause of death of mother and daughter to asphyxia.
During his interrogation, Avinesh admitted that he strangled his step mother. However, he said that he had no intention to kill his step mum and sister.
The funeral of Jyootee and her daughter took place yesterday.
