There is now a flood of comments on the Daily Mail website, Two hotel workers found NOT GUILTY of murdering a honeymoon bride in her hotel room in Mauritius, there are comments like boycott Mauritius, choose another destination etc.

Here are some of the comments taken from Daily Mail

Well, that’s Mauritius struck off my list of potential holiday destinations!

Exotic places seem exquisite. However, if you look from the locals point of view, anyone who can affort to go there must be rich pickings. Boycott it and go where people are not on the starvation line

- Doris, spain, 12/7/2012 17:34

Wait, so these 2 did not do it and apparently neither did the husband. Fine. So… who did and do they still work at the hotel??? Yikes. Whatever they choose to call the place, they are potentially employing a murderer!

- Caroline , Cape Town, South Africa, 12/7/2012 17:27

Reporting of this sick parody of a trial indicated that this would be the verdict. So, let us stand with our Irish neighbours on this. Boycott Mauritius as a holiday destination. Boycott Mauritian goods and services. They export sugar, do financial services, business process outsourcing and IT stuff. Let us send their economy into free-fall.

- Colonel Mortimer, Ubique, EUSSR, 12/7/2012 17:25

One thing is for sure, I will never visit Mauritius!

- UK Citizen, London, UK, 12/7/2012 19:05

Well Mauritius has just gone to the very bottom of my choice of holiday destinations.
