Bharat Telecom recruits 200 Staff

Bharat Telecom has begun its recruitment process since last week. Bharat Telecom plans to offer Internet at a cheaper rate and also Satellite television. 200 person will be recruited for the launch of its operation in Mauritius by the end of March 2012.
Baljinder Sharma, the director of Bharat Telecom has said that the company plans to recruit 200 person in various fields and they plan to recruit 1000 employers at the final phase of the project, in three years. The commercial offers will be launched by the end of March 2012 in some regions of the island. Since the Network Operation Center is located in Ebene, the service will be available initially in Ebene, Quatre Bornes, Rose Hill and Beau Bassin.
A few of the job vacancies at Bharat Telecom requires very advanced qualifications in engineering and an experience of five years in the telecommunication sector or at an Internet Service provider.
Baljinder Sharma has said that there is the possibility to employ foreigners for the infrastructure set up, this will be done only if local candidates has not been found.
The office of Bharat Telecom will be at the 8th floor of Ebene Mews Building, the office should be ready by the end of January 2012.
