Blue-Bay: Shark Measuring 1m50 Spotted in lagoon

The Blue-Bay lagoon is under a shark alert since 10:30 this morning. A shark measuring 1m50 was spotted by the team of the National Coast Guard ( NCG ) who was patrolling the region.

This is not the first time that there is a shark alert in Mauritius lagoons, last year three sharks were spotted in Albion.

Dharmarajen Murugan, the Police responsible for communications has asked the public to be on high alert and to give any information they have concerning the shark to the NCG.

It is very rare for sharks to come to adventure in Mauritius lagoons.
