No Cyclone warning is in force in Mauritius. The tropical cyclone is moving towards the South South West at about 22 km/h. Dumille has already passed at its closest distance from Mauritius and is now moving away from our region.
Dumile was positioned around latitude 20.8 degrees South and longitude 54.4 degrees East at 13:00.

Cyclone Dumile which intensified into a tropical cyclone last night was centered at 04:00 near latitude 18.7 degrees south and longitude 54.9 degrees east at 4:00, 03/01/13. Severe tropical cyclone Dumile is moving in a south west direction at about 22 km/h. It was located at 310 KM almost to the North west of Mauritius this morning. On this trajectory, Dumile continues to move towards Mauritius and remains a threat. It is expected to pass at its closest at about 250 km west of Mauritius at mid-day today.
A cyclone warning class 2 was issued at 16:30 on 02/01/13. The trajectory of Dumile did not change much during the night and it will be closest to the island in the afternoon today.

Dumile, still a moderate tropical storm on Tuesday, was beginning to veer southward a few hundred miles east of northern Madagascar, and nearly 600 miles north-northwest of Mauritius.
The remote island of Agalega, lying within 100 to 150 miles northwest of the cyclone center, was walloped with more than 17 inches of rain between Sunday and Tuesday.
