Droopnath Ramphul College won the seventh edition of the Public Service Excellence Award. Thus, the college obtained a cheque of Rs 100 000.
This is a great honnor for Droopnath Ramphul College. At the prize giving ceremony of Public Service Excellence Award 2011, held at Le Méridien Hotel Pointe-aux-Piments, the State College of Calebasses was declared winner for the seventh edition of this competition. Best employees of the public service were to be rewarded.
The college obtained a cheque of Rs 100 000 as well as a trophy. This is not the first award for the State College as in 2007 they distinguished themselves in the Leadership and Team Spirit category. For the 2011 edition, jury members warmly welcomed the college’s innovations in the area of information technology and communication (ICT).
