Gastroenteritis: 2040 Cases reported in 20 days

The number of gastroenteritis cases has risen sharply since the start of July. 2040 cases were reported between the 9 and 29 July.
There is a gastroenteritis outbreak but the situation is under control and there are enough medicines. From July 9 to July 15, 766 cases were detected, from 16 to 22 July, 626 cases and from 23 to 28 July, 648 cases were reported. The trend shows that the number of cases are decreasing.
Children and elderly people are more prone to gastroenteritis because their weak immune system. People must take all the necessary precautions such as drink boiled water, washing raw vegetables and fruits, avoid fast-food which are exposed to mosquitoes, washing hands regularly with water and soap for 20 seconds before eating and preparing food.
