Installation of Cameras in Rose Hill Transport Buses

After the introduction of speed cameras on the roads, the public transports will now be closely monitored. Rose-Hill Transport have installed three cameras in a bus doing the Rose-Hill-Port Louis route. The cameras which cost Rs 10,000 have a record time for 24 hours.
Dany Ramana, Technical Executive at the RHT explained: “We have introduced cameras because of the assaults on conductors drivers and passengers. The project is now on a trial basis and will be extended soon.
