For this award, participants’ evaluation was based on the criteria of “American Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award”, namely leadership, management and human resource development, financial performance, service quality, process management and environmental management.
167 Mauritian enterprises competed for this award, which recognizes the most environmentally friendly, innovative and profitable enterprises.
Hotel Club Marina tops the list of 40 enterprises in the large business category. Situated along the north coast of Mauritius, at Anse la Raie, Le Marina Hotel managed by Attitude hotel chain, is exclusively marketed by French operator Nouvelles Frontières.
Attitude Group, a new reference in the Mauritian hotel industry in the category 3 and 4 star, has well positioned Le Marina and demarcated itself with its hospitality expertise and motivated team.
Attitude, which is well-experienced in the field, ensures the management and development of Le Marina along with the growth of its teams.
The quality of services, its standards and its efficient processes are not the only forte but its Family Members (team members), strong employer brand, and eco-commitment are also significant features.

The expansion project of Hôtel Club Le Marina has been successfully completed in November 2010. The hotel now has 182 rooms, including 41 located in the new wing “Le Marina Privilège Club”, housed in a spirit of “boutique hotel” and exclusively reserved for couples and honeymooners. Moreover, the hotel was completely renovated in 2011, and the whole better reflects the brand image and authenticity of Attitude. The buildings have been repainted in a spirit of visual harmony, and the rooms which have been redesigned offer better comfort.
Common areas have also been refurbished and are now more user-friendly. Hence, since November 2011 customers of Nouvelles Frontières can appreciate a new Marina, to live and enjoy a genuine experience in Mauritius.
Through its Green Attitude program, Attitude pursues its motive by participating in an active and responsible manner in the island’s sustainable development. Simple and concrete actions have already been taken in each hotel, greatly encouraged by Ambassadors of the environment who are out into the field.
In the context of its CSR program (Corporate Social Responsibility – in accordance with the Local Corporate Law) Attitude has also chosen to bring its contribution to environmental projects in the northern regions of the island, in collaboration with Mauritian ONGs. In November 2010, Attitude inaugurated Nauticaz, its educational and interactive centre totally dedicated to the richness of the local marine flora and fauna. Located in the new building of Hôtel Club Le Marina, Nauticaz is open to guests, inhabitants and schools of the region as well as to the Family Members.
The vocation of Nauticaz consists not only in revealing the treasures of our lagoon but also to generate awareness among young people and grown-ups regarding the protection of these treasures.
Overall, Attitude Group manages 8 hotels and the building of the eighth hotel, a 4 star, 215 rooms hotel, along the north coast of the island, has already started. The opening of the hotel is planned in October 2013. Thus, in the near future, Attitude will be managing nine hotels, a total of 857 rooms. The projects truly ensure the sustainability and dynamism of the Group!
