Official Inauguration Of The Bagatelle – Mall of Mauritius

The Bagatelle – Mall of Mauritius was officially inaugurated yesterday.

The ceremony took place in the presence of the Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam as well as the leaders of the group ENL and its South African partner, Atterbury.

The commemorative plaque was also unveiled by the Prime Minister close to the Time Capsule which was sealed last year. The delegation then directed to the ark main for the traditional ‘ribbon cutting ceremony’ before initiating together a guided visit to the Mall and its tenants.

Record attendance of 250,000 visitors

The Bagatelle Mall was open to the public on the 29th October 2011. Since then the commercial center has welcomed more than 250,000 visitors.

The investments resulting from the partnership between the Group ENL and Atterbury for the Bagatelle Mall of Mauritius project has amounted to Rs 3.5 billion and has created more than 3,000 jobs.
