Prachi Desai has claimed that she and Shahid Kapoor make a good couple on screen.
The actress plays a surprise supporting role in Kunal Kohli’s Teri Meri Kahaani.
She told the Hindustan Times: “Kunal needed a known face, someone you wouldn’t expect to see, somewhat like Salman Khan’s appearance in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998). And I wanted to work with a director of his calibre.
“Now that the audience has seen Shahid Kapoor and me together, I’m hoping filmmakers come with offers of a full-fledged role. And after Bol Bachchan and I, Me Aur Main, I’m sure no one will approach me with abbreviated appearances.
“I think we make a cute couple on screen. I have my fingers crossed that he and I get a chance to work together again soon.”
In 2010, Desai admitted that she had a crush on Shahid Kapoor after meeting him at a celebrity gathering.
She will next be seen playing a “seductress” opposite Emraan Hashmi in the romantic thriller Informer.
