Revealed: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s crazy wedding plans
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are undoubtedly upset that yet more information about their upcoming nuptials have been leaked.
Although the uncovered details are so crazy that they border on the ridiculous!
The A-listers’ florist has blabbed that the pair have spent big bucks on elephants and “leaping Shetland ponies”, which will roam the grounds of their Chateau Miraval estate on the big day.
It’s been rumoured for months now that the pair are planning to wed at their home in the south of France, with some assuming that the former Mr & Mrs Smith co-stars would exchange rings over the Christmas period.
But florist Lucille Michel has confirmed to Grazia magazine that Ange will in fact be walking down the aisle a week after the Cannes Film Festival in May.
She explained: “Guests will travel past water fountains and Shetland ponies leaping as they go up the two-mile long drive to the house.
“The lawns have all got new sprinkler systems in so they’ll be green and lush for the big day.
“Brad wants the guests to say, ‘Wow’ the moment they sweep through the gates.”
Lucille added: “They want the wedding to take place just before sunset, so that as they say their vows the church will fill with fabulous red, orange and yellow light.”
Apparently Brad and Angie’s brood of six children have also got themselves involved in organising the big day, bizarrely requesting eight elephants to represent each of them.
Shipping in the elephants is bound to be a costly endeavour, but it looks like money is no object for the Hollywood stars on their big day, with their flower bill alone costing tens of thousands of pounds.
The florist confessed: “He’s spending in the region of £30,000 on flowers and says they’ve decided no cut flowers, just planted wild ones, so that in the future their great-grandchildren can see where they made a promise to each other.”
