Two Fishermen missing

Relatives of Sookrim Kalka Prosand and Chandruck Boodholee are anxious. These two fishermen, aged 57 and 43, are missing at sea when their boat capsized near Coin-de-Mire, on Friday afternoon.

The boat left Cap-Malheureux at 5 p.m that day for a fishing trip with a man named Guy Gabriel on board.

As the three men did not return, the owner of the boat logged a deposition at the Grand-Baie police station. Officers of the National Coast Guard undertook research till 21 h 15 to locate them.

A fisherman, who also participated in the research, spotted Guy Gabriel. The latter has been admitted to a private clinic. However, Sookrim Kalka Prosand and Chandruck Boodholee had no such luck and are still missing.
