Veena Ramgoolam: Mauritius First Lady dressing style compared with Carla Bruni and Michelle Obama in the British Press
Veena Ramgoolam, the wife of the Prime Minister of Mauritius, Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam is featured in one of the most popular British press, DailyMail for her excellent fashion choice. The first lady of Mauritius chose a dazzling pastel hue sari for her appearance at the Rashtrapati Bhawan on Tuesday. Amazingly this can turn out to be very good for the promotion of Mauritius in the United Kingdom. The Ministry of Tourism and the MTPA are looking for new ways to increase the visibility of Mauritius and this has come from a very unlikely source, the beautiful pastel sari of Veena Ramgoolam has been helpful in this task.
The reporter of DailyMail also stated that the Thai Prime Minister, Yingluck Shinawatra who visited India last month had worn a simple yet chic dress.
Dr Navin Ramgoolam and his wife arrived in India on Tuesday for a six-day official visit on Manmohan Singh’s invitation.
